  • Sort lumber according to grade markings and size.
  • Remove boards from sorting tables, hand trucks, or conveyors, and stack them according to grade, length, or intended use.
  • Gauge the length of boards visually or using a measuring rule.
  • Remove defective lumber and stack accordingly by grade, length, species, and color.
  • Perform edge and face gluing operations.
  • Continually lift between 60-100 lbs.
  • Stand for extended periods.
  • Continually twist and bend.
  • Work under outdoor weather conditions (warehouse is covered but not climate-controlled).

General Labor - Lumber Handler

  • Load and unload lumber products to and from machinery, ensuring materials meet customer requirements and company quality standards.
  • Move and secure lumber and other materials as instructed.
  • Stack finished products according to specified bundle sizes or customer specifications.
  • Continually lift, move, and flip items weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Remain standing for the duration of the shift.
  • Perform repetitive movements, including frequent twisting and bending.
  • Work safely in an industrial environment and follow all safety procedures and responsibilities.
