Responsibilities:
Support the Executive Chef in all kitchen operations.
Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen staff.
Ensure dishes are prepared and presented according to quality standards.
Oversee prep work and ensure stations are set for service.
Monitor food inventory, place orders, and manage stock rotation.
Enforce sanitation and safety regulations in the kitchen.
Assist in developing and updating menu items.
Train and mentor kitchen staff.
Handle kitchen issues in the Chef’s absence.
Ensure consistency, speed, and efficiency during service.
Lead by example and help foster a positive and productive kitchen culture.
Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of hot and cold food preparation.
Leadership skills and the ability to manage a team under pressure.
Excellent understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to multitask, delegate, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
ServeSafe certification preferred.
Responsibilities:
Prepare cold dishes (salads, desserts, etc.) following standardized recipes.
Assemble, measure, and prep fresh cold ingredients.
Maintain food quality and freshness.
Properly store cold ingredients and rotate stock.
Keep the cold station and equipment clean and sanitized.
Arrange and garnish dishes to ensure visual appeal.
Collaborate with other cooks and chefs for smooth service.
Ensure safe food handling and kitchen hygiene practices.
Skills:
1+ years of experience working with cold prep in a fast-paced restaurant.
Knowledge of cold food safety and storage practices.
Attention to detail and plating aesthetics.
ServeSafe certification preferred.
Responsibilities:
Cook hot menu items using broiler, sauté, or fry techniques.
Follow recipes and portion controls precisely.
Ensure ingredients are prepped and stations are stocked.
Monitor food quality, doneness, and presentation.
Maintain clean and sanitized hot line stations and tools.
Communicate with kitchen team for smooth flow of service.
Safely handle hot equipment and maintain kitchen safety standards.
Skills:
1+ years of experience in hot line cooking (broiler, sauté, or fry).
Strong sense of timing and multitasking.
Knowledge of safe handling of hot surfaces, oil, and open flames.
ServeSafe certification preferred.
