Batching Operator

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Operation of processing equipment. Blending, and mixing into finished product.
  •  Ensure batches are properly blended. Record batching information, lot code, and total
    production quantities.
  • Ensure quality batches are produced. Perform specific QC tests to ensure product
    meets specifications.
  • Understand the basic setup, loading and operation of production equipment.
  • Understand the raw ingredient set-up and blending of raw materials products.
  • Be able to read and understand a manufacturing formula sheet.
  • Choose the correct items from current inventory, and record lot number (if indicated).
  • Weigh out and tag the product amounts based on formula sheet for production.
  • Clean/maintain production equipment and areas of building as needed.
  • Understand and abide by OSHA regulations.
  • Acts as the back up to the other Batching Operators and Pre-Weigh Operators during
    absences to ensure the integrity of the SQF system.
  • Responsible for adhering food safety, cGMPs, employee safety, quality standards,
    sanitary practices and customer specifications.
  • Report any food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum one (1) year mixing and blending experience in a
    food/beverage/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment,
  • Must have a valid WI driver’s license (required for forklift operation)
  •  Must able to remain on their feet for an extended period of time.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Utility Worker

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure areas are kept clean and free of hazards or debris
    o Performs routine cleaning of production area, offices, lunchrooms, and
    bathrooms.
    o Perform foaming of totes to ensure cleanliness
    o Transports trash to appropriate disposal area
  • Utilizes appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedures
  • Completes work assignments in a safe and timely manner
  • Responsible for adhering to food safety, GMP, safety, quality and sanitary practices
  •  Report any safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment

  • Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions and directions

  • Requires the ability to freely move throughout the facility and stand for extended periods
    of time. Must be able to frequently bend or stoop.

  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds unassisted and up to 50 pounds
    occasionally.

  •  Good manual dexterity including the ability to touch, handle or grasp objects.

  •  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to focus

Sanitation Technician

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensures that all manufacturing equipment is cleaned, sanitized and handled according to
    company standards
  • Cleans production lines and ensures that lines are properly cleaned within the acceptable
    time frame
  • Move and dismantle equipment to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation and reassemble
    when completed
  • Operate a forklift to move relevant materials and operate a scissors lift to perform
    environmental tasks.
  •  Cleans and sanitizes the production floor, including, but not limited to the filling areas,
    pre-weigh room, batching area and general production floor areas
  • Operate floor scrubber to adequately clean the facility according to DreamPak and
    regulated standards.
  •  Cleans the office area of the facility to include, but not limited to workstations, carpets,
    conference rooms, bathrooms and individual offices.
  • Acts as the back up to the Lead Sanitation Technician during absences to ensure the
    integrity of the SQF system.
  • Responsible for maintaining food safety, employee safety, quality standards and
    Customer specifications.
  • Report any food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
  • Responsible for environmental duties within the DreamPak facilities.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  •  1-3 years experience in an industrial GMP plant or janitorial industry
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a fast paced team environment
  • Exposure to/working with chemicals (detergents bleach, etc.)
  • Must have good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others
  • Must be stand for 8 hours a day and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted

Maintenance Tech

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  •  Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and rules.
  • Promote a safety awareness and commitment at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information received, created, or processed.
  • Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production and related services.
  • Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.
  • Make repairs or adjustments to keep production equipment operating.
  • Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments to involve dismantling, inspection, machining or replacement of purchased parts.
  • Perform various activities relative to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment to involve dismantling, erection, leveling, fitting and aligning operations.
  • Ensure maintenance on DreamPak’s buildings, facilities, and grounds are performed.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Contact OEM and replacement parts distributors, to obtain needed parts.
  • Contact sources with applicable knowledge, to assess and recommend machinery-related issues.
  • Maintain required maintenance logs and files.
  • Perform routine housekeeping activities in the Maintenance Department and ensure adherence to established safety procedures and cleanliness standards.
  • Identify and assist in leading the implementation of Continuous Improvement.
  • Serve on Company’s Safety Committee.
  • Acts as the back up to the other Maintenance Technicians and the Maintenance & Engineering Manager during absences to ensure the integrity of the SQF system.
  • Responsible for adhering food safety, cGMPs, employee safety, quality standards, sanitary practices and customer specifications.

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience and three to five years related maintenance experience

  • Possess a working knowledge of pneumatics, machinery electrical wiring, PLC’s, refrigeration and/or process steam systems

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and manufacturing software

  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints

  •  Initiative and willingness to learn and gain additional knowledge

  • Ability to problem solve and determine effective solutions to a variety of situations where limited standardization exists

Maintenance Supervisor

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments, and directly supervise the maintenance staff and areas.

  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and keep PM system up to date.

  • Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

  • Maintain communication with other departments, management and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production.

  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance requirements (both planned and unplanned) on production, packaging and processing equipment and utility systems.

  • Perform minor and major repairs of all production machines.

  • Conduct and document employee disciplinary action. Recommend employee discipline actions and obtain input from HR prior to proceeding.

  • Conduct annual performance appraisals for direct reports.

  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties

  • Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate format, and completed with required information.

  • Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s.

  •  Responsible for maintaining parts and supplies inventory.

  • Utilizes continuous improvement mindset, assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.

  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.

  • Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.

  • Follow all required work safe practices. This would include lockout-tagout requirements, PPE, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.

  •  Responsible for enforcing and maintaining food safety, cGMPs, employee safety, quality standards, sanitary practices and customer specifications.

  • Report any food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  •  High school or trade school diploma.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of job related experience in a manufacturing environment, food and beverage industry preferred.
  • A minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and work under tight conditions.
  • Experience with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills are required.
  • The ability to multi-task, work independently and collaborate with team members across functional groups is desired.

  • A minimum of one-yearexperience in production operations, preferably in food and beverage manufacturing.
