• Accurately and efficiently perform machine changeovers in required time periods.
• Plan and build changeover tooling to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain standard conditions of all finish tooling.
• Maintain standard conditions and 5-S of the tooling setup area.
• Perform precision measurement of tooling and product as required.
• Changing of perishable tooling as needed on finishing and drilling equipment.
• Conduct autonomous maintenance activities.
• Ensure that all used tooling is delivered to maintenance for rebuild or repair.
• Maintain first piece acceptance on machine changeovers.
• Perform at required production rates while operating finishing and drilling equipment.
• Report all machine issues to line leader or supervisor.
• Effectively train others in machine set-up procedures.
• Identify areas of improvement throughout the facility and assist with the solution and implementation.
• Provide backup leadership as needed.
• Train team members on safety, quality and processes on both primary and finishing side.

Process Technician II will have the above responsibilities plus the additional responsibilities listed below:

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of drills during production and help perform scheduled maintenance repairs of drill production equipment during machine service
• Use a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment
• Detect faulty operations, defective materials and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision; perform all other duties as assigned or needed
• Change drill spindles during scheduled maintenance repairs and rebuild drill spindles required
