EXPERIENCED EXTRUDER OPERATOR

CLARACITYNAME-02

The Experienced Extruder Operator is responsible for setting up and operating the equipment in the extrusion area efficiently and productively. You must guarantee the quality of the product being processed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Start, operate, troubleshoot, shut down and clean the extruder machine.

  • Coordinate production runs with the supervisor to ensure orders are completed on time.

  • Quality control of the dough, notifying the kneader if the dough does not have the correct consistency to work.

  • Control and record the levels of salt, soda, temperature, density and humidity of the product. Report any problems to the boss or supervisor overseeing the shift.

  • Check the size, color and shape of the product.

  • Constantly monitor the quality of the product and point out any problems to the boss or supervisor who supervises the shift.

  • Light Heavy Work: Lifting a maximum of 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or transporting of objects weighing up to 30 pounds.

  • Follow personal hygiene and GMP requirements.

  • Security oriented and follows all security policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years of previous experience as an operator of food extrusion machines.

  • Ability to read and interpret the process instruction manuals.

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Requires moving and climbing frequently.

  • Frequent physical exertion of light to moderate.

  • Exposure to noise, odors, dust and discharges from the production process.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform maintenance on the building and equipment, as needed.

  • Diagnose and repair equipment in a sophisticated dairy processing plant.

  • Monitor the readings of our boiler system.

  • Must be self-motivated, have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and be willing to contribute in a team environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 - 3 years of previous maintenance experience.
  • Previous experience in industrial maintenance with a strong aptitude in the areas of mechanical, electrical and structural maintenance is required.
  • Knowledge of PLC's and ammonia will be valued.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Production Operators are responsible for packaging equipment on a moving assembly line.
  • Includes completion of all required documentation and performing cleaning and sanitation of equipment.
  • Ideal candidates will have had previous exposure in a manufacturing environment.
  • Additionally, can do basic mathematics, is mechanically inclined and comfortable with hand tools, and is happy with rolling up their sleeves and doing what it takes to be a team player.
