WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Must be able to assemble, disassemble, repair, rebuild, overhaul any machine in shop. Also rebuild, repair or install any parts in machine components. Diagnose and remedy minor electrical trouble.
- Perform a variety of bench and machining operations on various parts.
- Hold close tolerance.
- Operates lathes, grinders, milling machines and all machine shop equipment.
- Transport hazardous material within company property.
- Perform ordinary arc, T.I.G. welding, and acetylene welding work and heat treating operations.
- May be required to perform simple carpentry and painting work.
- Perform Production Support TM duties
- Adhere to preventive maintenance schedule.
- Maintain high level of quality on work performed.
- Instruct and train all team members.
WHO YOU ARE
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in a cold heading facility preferred.
- Proficient with lathes, grinders, milling machines and other machine shop equipment.
- Proficient in welding. Certification preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Prior towmotor experience.
PHYSYCAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stand and walk for majority of an 8 to 10-hour day.
- Bend, lift product, equipment and tools up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
- Push or pull product up to 200 pounds.
- Use hand tools up to 20 pounds over extended periods of time.
- Ability to work at heights.
