As a Maintenance Technician 1 your duties are to troubleshoot, repair and provide maintenance on a variety of
mechanical shop equipment to achieve optimal levels of productivity, quality, and safety.
• Perform weekly checklist
• Maintain accurate and timely records of all tool repairs, changes and use of shop supplies
• Assist in troubleshooting and perform repairs to
- blaster
- welding machine
- welding lead
- air chipper
- grinder
- paint pump
• Make major repairs to Forklifts and check fluids weekly
• Maintain tools in optimal operating condition
• Perform preventative maintenance activities
• Follow all prescribed internal tooling procedures
• Be able to weld and use oxy/acetylene torch
• Uphold all Workplace Policies, Procedures and Safety Protocols
• Address and resolve reported defective materials, spills or questionable conditions within your department
• Complete all paperwork neatly and accurately
• Ability to use tape measure and calipers
• Be punctual, dependable and energetic while maintaining a high level of attention to detail as you multi-task
and prioritize in a fast paced environment
• Work independently or as part of a team
• Ensure ongoing compliance in the safe operation of all equipment including cranes, hoists and other
material handling devices
• Housekeeping of department throughout the day by sweeping and decluttering machine areas
• Pass a forklift test for certification with TAG, as required and safely drive a forklift
• Lift and handle heavy materials up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• All other duties as assigned
•Ability to learn ABB robotic programming
•Manage daily operation of the robotic cell, prioritize and process work orders for the robotic cell
•Robotically weld components with minimal hand welding
•With readily available supervision and programming guidance, be able to perform minor programming corrections to start or end locations, air moves, etc.
•Ability to MIG weld
•Uphold all Workplace Policies, Procedures and Safety Protocols
•Address and resolvereported defective materials, spills or questionable conditions within your department
•Complete all paperwork neatly and accurately
•Ability to read and interpret layout details and parts lists, as well as use tape measure and calipers
•Be punctual, dependable and energetic while maintaining a high level of attention to detail as you multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment
•Work independently or as part of a team
•Ensure ongoing compliance in the safe operation of all equipment including cranes, hoists and other material handling devices

REQUIRED
•High School graduate / GED or relevant experience
•Advanced computer comprehension
PREFERRED
•Metal industry or Construction experience is not required, but highly preferred
•Experience in operating an overhead crane is a plus
•Experience operating a forklift is a plus
•Hands on experience withtrade tools, equipment, materials, tape measures, methods and techniques used in safe manufacturing operations
